Runs a small clinic's in-house pharmacy from one Android phone: stock, GST bills, prescriptions and patient records.

Stock
Every batch tracked with expiry, purchase price and MRP. Smart Order learns your sales and suggests what to buy, then sends the list to your supplier on WhatsApp.
Billing
Dosage like 1-0-1 for 5 days works out the quantity. CGST and SGST split, consultation fee, Cash, UPI or card. Share the bill as a PDF.
Patients
Visit history, test-report trends, allergies with warnings at billing time, and each doctor's usual prescriptions in one tap.
Offline
Bills are saved on the phone and sync when the connection returns.
Plans
Free for up to 50 medicines and 100 bills a month. Pro adds Smart Order, exports, daily email and staff logins, with a 30-day trial.

From the clinic counter to the kitchen table

MediStock and FamilyMeds talk to each other. A prescription written at the clinic becomes a dose alarm at home, with no retyping.

When a parent misses a dose, the other members' phones check and alert. Private medicines stay private.

Counts down with each dose, shows days left and reminds you to reorder.

How we build

The same rules apply to both lines of work, written down the way an engineer fills in a title block.

Network

Offline first.

Bills and doses are saved on the phone and sync when the signal returns. Alarms ring without internet.

Data

Health records stay in India.

Clinic and family data is stored in Mumbai.

Release

Staged and reversible.

Updates go to a test phone, then a slice of users, with one-step rollback.

Exit

Yours to take or delete.

Export your clinic's records from MediStock at any time. In MediStock and FamilyMeds you can delete your account and data from inside the app.

Ads

Never in the clinic.

MediStock has no ads; paid plans fund it. FamilyMeds is free for families with a few non-personalised banners, never on alarms or alerts.

Modus: a way of doing something.

Modus Lab is an independent studio in Pune, started by a mechanical R&D engineer. The habits come from the shop floor: write the requirement down, test against it, and keep a record of every change.

That is why the studio has two lines of work. The engineering software grows out of that R&D work. The health apps apply the same discipline to problems at the clinic and at home.
